After I had the ideas floating around in my mind I had to come up with a name for this website. All of the ideas got put on a hold for a while when I took 25 days of leave from my current job (United States Marine Corps) to go home and get some nice relaxing time in with my family. During this time i spent numerous hours snowmobiling and visiting friends and family. On one of the nights that i was home there was a little polka dance in Marshfield, and as you know my whole family went to this. You all know that if there is a dance it cannot be missed. We were a little late for this dance due to some dressing issues on my part. LOL ok that is not for you to laugh. I can get dressed just fine, it was just a casual vs. dressy style. I went way to dressy and had to change into some more casual cloths. Anyways back to the point. We got there late and it was far into the night. As I was Dancing I was thinking to myself. This is such a great Night for polka dancing. It was about 35 outside. Nice temp on the inside. And the Phrase Polka Night came up. I paused for a second and said to myself. PolkaNight.com....................PERFECT. and thats the extent of the name.
